Pathways Admin Profiles for the 2022-2023 School Year
Kim Brown, Principal
As a University of Alberta student, Kim first came to the north for a practicum with FVSD. Twenty-one years later she is still teaching with the Division and has held several positions over the years. Growing up Kim dreamed of becoming a horse trainer and even though she didn’t follow that path, her love of these beautiful animals remains. Social and Legal Studies were favorite subjects as a young student, largely due to the impact made by a great teacher.
“I am looking forward to working with Pathways families and students this year to find a 'best fit' for their educational journey.”
Anna McAskile, Assistant Principal
Moving north with her husband in the late 80’s, Anna has now been with the Division for 31 years and has held numerous roles over that time. A lover of numbers, her favorite subject in school was Mathematics. Growing up Anna wanted to become a Speech Pathologist, something that relates to her currently held position of Inclusive Education Coordinator, which is in addition to being Assistant Principal of Pathways.
“I am looking forward to getting to know students and parents in both the High Level and La Crete Pathways programs.”
