Fort Vermilion School Division Board of Trustees have approved new calendars for the 2025-2028 school years. A first for FVSD, the approval of three school calendars will allow for better planning as we continue to move the dial in literacy, numeracy, connectivity and career paths for our students.   

The approved calendars are nearly the same as the current calendar with a few minor differences. The last day of school for all three years will be during the second week of June. The Christmas Break begins on December 23 each year with classes resuming the first week of January following the New Year.

One notable change is the addition of an Organizational Day in January prior to students return so staff are able to effectively prepare. Schools will be closed the same number of days for Teacher's Convention week and for the Easter Break students will have one week plus the previous Friday off.
