We are pleased to announce the appointment of Kevin Janzen as Principal of Blue Hills Community School effective for the 2025-2026 school year. Kevin graduated from La Crete Public School and returned to FVSD as a teacher at Sand Hills Elementary School in 2001. Kevin taught various grades including Inclusive Education during his time at SHES until 2022 and Inclusive Education at LCPS from 2022 to 2024. In 2024 Kevin was appointed Assistant Principal at BHCS. Kevin received his Master of Education degree in 2011.

BHCS has quickly become a very special place to me, and I am excited that I get to continue growing together with the students and staff and parents who make this such a wonderful community."
