Fort Vermilion School Division has been made aware of yet another post circulating on social media claiming that school districts will be vaccinating children without parental consent. 

This post is completely false and not based on facts or any kind of provincial order from government
officials or the Alberta Ministry of Education. Vaccines will NOT be mandatory for students in any FVSD schools. 

Fort Vermilion School Division will NEVER allow students in our schools to be vaccinated without parental consent.

Parents/Guardians will ALWAYS have the final say on whether their child will or will not receive the COVID-19 vaccine.
