October 5th is World Teacher Day! Join us in celebrating our amazing teachers who work so hard each and every school year!

In recognition of the important work our teachers do, Fort Vermilion School Division hosted a creative writing and comic contest, open to all grades. Students were able to submit creative pieces under one of the following categories:

• My Teacher, My Hero - how has a teacher made a difference for you?
• Real Heros Don't Wear Capes - draw a comic/cartoon of a teacher in action!
• Heros All Around Us - how do teachers get involved in our community?
• Heroic Acts of Teaching - how has a teacher helped you overcome a struggle?
