Notice to families:
The Fort Vermilion School Division would like to notify parents of several schooling changes. On Nov. 24, the Provincial government announced all Grade 7-12 students across the province would transition to at-home learning until after the Christmas break.

This change will take place as of Nov. 30.

Students in Grades K-6 who are currently attending school will continue to do so. However, there has also been a change to the dates for this year’s Christmas break.

At their regular meeting on Nov. 25, the FVSD Board of Trustees passed a motion to move this year’s Christmas break by a week in order to comply with provincial health guidelines.

This year's Christmas break will now be from Dec. 24 to Jan. 10.

We understand these are exceptionally trying times, and we want to work with our families to ensure the best for their children. We ask for your patience while we work through these new Provincially-mandated guidelines. More information specific to the schools your children attend will be coming out in the days ahead, and we ask that you continue to monitor our websites and social media channels.
