Fort Vermilion School Division is pleased
to announce the following appointment:

Shelly Komarnicki, Principal
Upper Hay River School

Shelly began her career in the Fort Vermilion School Division in 2001 teaching various elementary grades at Spirit of the North Community School and Florence MacDougall Community School. In 2021 Shelly accepted her current role as Assistant Principal position at Rocky Lane School.

"As an educator in the Fort Vermilion School Division for so many years I am so honoured to be joining the staff at Upper Hay River School. I look forward to my leadership role working with the dedicated staff, students, and wonderful community of Meander River."
