Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year at SNCS!
As we begin a new academic year, I would like to extend a warm welcome to all our students, both returning and new, along with their families to Spirit of the North Community School.
As we move forward, I assure you that the well-being, safety, and educational progress of our students remain our top priorities. Our dedicated team of educators and support staff has been working diligently in literacy and numeracy to prepare for the upcoming academic year, designing engaging and meaningful learning experiences that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
This year, we will continue to foster a culture of collaboration, inclusivity, and respect within our school community. Parents play a key role in the education of their children, and I want to highlight that attendance is a crucial component of student success. We encourage families to make a concerted effort to ensure students attend school regularly and to actively engage in their child’s education by maintaining open lines of communication, participating in school activities inside and outside of the classroom as well as events whenever possible.
Parents can stay connected with our school through our school website ( Spirit of the North Community School | Fort Vermilion School Division (fvsd.ab.ca) ), school Facebook (Spirit of the North Community School Official | High Level AB | Facebook ), and regular communication updates through the SNCS office. These platforms will provide you with important announcements, academic resources, and information about upcoming events.
Together, we can provide the support and guidance our students need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Once again, welcome back to Spirit of the North Community School.
Yours in Education,
Cory Boudreau – Principal of Spirit of the North School
