We are pleased to announce the appointment of Julie Gallant as Assistant Principal of La Crete Public School effective for the 2025-2026 school year. Julie began her teaching career with FVSD in 2003 and held various teaching positions at Hill Crest Community School, Fort Vermilion Public School, and La Crete Public School. In 2022 Julie joined the staff at Sand Hills Elementary School as Assistant Principal. Julie is currently working towards completing her Master of Education.

Having spent many years there as a teacher and inclusive education coordinator, I already feel connected to the school and its families, many of which I work with in my current role at Sandhills. My time at SHES has been invaluable, and I am deeply grateful for the experiences and relationships I've built here.
